Another excellent piece by Barry Day
Barry Day continues to cement his place among the top-tier of Sherlock Holmes pastiche writers. This quick-paced book has an exotic protagonist and a bitter opponent who both give Holmes and Watson a run for their money. With a nice homage to Doyle's other well known work, and another fantastic one-voice read by David Ian Davies, fans of Holmes should find themselves pleased with this book.

If you love Sherlock, you will enjoy this
The reader is absolutely wonderful. The story is over the top, just like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was. A very Victorian feel to the plot and the characters. Highly entertaining.

Poor substitute for the original Conan Doyle
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Not sure who would enjoy this. I purchased because l like Sherlock the original but this wasn't even close. The narration wasn't interesting nor was the story. Didn't go past the first 15 minutes.
