Heartwarming

I just love this story. There's no great intrigue or action- just a nice Christmas story about people I have come to care about. I listen to it every year as part of my Christmas traditions.

A great book

Well our book club selected this book to read in December. I never would have imagined unknowingly, how wonderful this Christmas story this would be and so timely to the season. A true blessing.

After the biblical story of Christmas, this is my favorite book to hear each year.

I have listened to these tender Christmas stories the last few years. I plan on listening to it each year. They tell the true story of Christmas and also of giving of one’s self unselfishly.
I love the narrator. He gives such warmth to each story.

Inspiring

This is my fifth Christmas to listen to this audiobook. The first time I listened, I didn't even know this was part of a series. I soon fell in love with the characters and ultimately listened to the entire series in order. But I come back to this one every year. This year I am listening with my 16 yo daughter. Every year I laugh at Uncle Billy and Rose, hope with Hope, and stress out a bit with Father Tim as he takes on a project that would be overwhelming for a man half his age. Every year I return to my roots as Father Tim returns to his, and I remember with him the true meaning of Christmas.

Best book series ever

Love this series of "Mitford" books! I'm going to be sad when I'm finished....

Delightful, Charming Christmas Story!

I cherish this book and the extra stories at the end! I listen to it every year and enjoy the individual and interesting characters, the holiday-themed storyline, and the Christmas spirit that it inspires. An annual must read; after all, “Christmas is coming!”
