A great addition to the nine realms saga! The character and world development is superb throughout this series and this book blends well with the other books. Really ties alot of loose ends up in this story and leaves you wanting more. Andrew Pond is an awesome narrator as well. Great Job Ken, looking forward to the next book!

So Good!
This was a quality addition to a really great series and world. I'm a huge fan of the entire Nine Realms Saga. It's all interconnected, even though each series can be read separately. I've read, listened, and re-listened to this entire world several times, and I get something new out of it, every time. It's complex and immersive. I recommend this series to anyone who likes Urban Fantasy, Mythology/Mysticism, and/or action fiction. I've sent these books to my dad and brother, which is a huge thing. The quality has been top notch, throughout. MUST-read.

Something BIG is coming!
To say I'm loving this series wouldn't be completely accurate. More like, I'm loving this world! At the moment, this world includes 3 different series, soon to be 4. The main character in each plays a huge part in something that has yet to happen. I'm not exactly sure what it is yet, but it will be HUGE! Ken Lange has done some of the most incredible character building with each of these series! His narrator, Andrew Pond, has done an outstanding job as well. I am looking forward to the next book, whichever series it may be in!

Great book, best of this universe so far
This book took Gavin to a whole new level, and was just great story. I finished the book and immediately started the book over to catch anything i may have missed.

will not continue this story
nothing ever happens. plot threads never get discussed again. too many characters not fleshed out, or don't add to the story. it's a bad version of the Dresden files. just waaau worse.
