great story

outstanding story worth listening toore than once. hopefully there are more in this series.

western reunion

I throughly enjoyed this western based werewolf story even though it wasn't very scary it was a really enjoyable listen. I would highly recommend this novel and the narrator is phenomenal forsure and worth a listen.

Very Entertaining

loved it can't wait to listen to the next book, easy listen, well written, well performed, it's all about the who is the narrater in my opinion and Micah Mason does a great job.

I hope this series goes past 2 bc I’m enjoying it so much.
Lots of action, supernatural mystery even horror.
Also the characters make it feel real.

Loved it enough to give as a gift!

I'm a new fan to this genre, usually preferring trashy romance or supernatural stories. This one kept my attention from the first chapter, I was hooked. I listened to it while I was on the road, even driving around the block to finish the chapters or find out what happened, before being able to turn it off. The writing is fantastic, very descriptive without being over the top. You could picture it happening in your mind. It told a great story that leaves you happy with the ending, and yet a teasing desire to know more. The narrator did an amazing job with all the different characters. I enjoy the book so much that I gave it to my best friend as a gift. I can't wait to see what she thinks. Even if it's not something you normally read, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Great story! The author, J. R. White did a remarkable job at verbally illustrating the characters and the story. I also thought the narration to be excellent and easy to follow.

I was in no way a fan of Westerns before but this book may have changed that. I am looking forward to Kit Barker's next adventure.

Cowboys meet warewolves, and who is the more dangerous killer in the wild west? This book is a horror, western, thriller, bromance, romance, and murder mystery all in one! The author knows how to being the right balance of heartache and joy without going to needlessly graphic or over-the-top happily ever after.

Kit Barker is BADASS

Outstanding debut. Can't wait for the next in the series. Superb combination of historical and horror fiction.

Good listen

If you like the supernatural killer books this was a good listen. I’m particularly fond of werewolf’s and Native American legends. The Narrator done a good job. He’s not one of those voices you hear read 1 sentence and immediately stop listening.
