Mariam Ibraheem was born in a refugee camp in Sudan. Her Muslim father died when she was six, and her mother raised her in the Christian faith. After a traumatic childhood, Mariam became a successful businessperson, married the man she loved, and had a beautiful baby boy.

This book is so awesome what a true story of a faith filled woman that is so strong by the power of God and eye opening to the persecution of Christian’s all over the world praise God for women like this who tell their story

hard to understand the naararator

it seems the story is very good.
I normally love a narrator from the country of the author. But the narrator of this book has strong rolling of her R's that roll into the next word. Many words are are not pronounced well and I'm still not catching on to her pronunciation.
She does switch from past to future to present often. I have to listen, not just to he words, but which scenario she is in, when.
But, I'll press on, because it's worth learning her story.

What an eye opener to what is happening to Muslim women

Hearing how gruesome human beings are being treated and in our current day made me realize how damaging our political leaders can be. We need to know these things so we can stand up and vote for people who do something about it. America should not allow people who believe in sharia law into positions in immigration offices, embassy or as an ambassador. What is wrong with our politicians???

Very moving

I’m stirred in my heart to examine my faithfulness to Christ. Also very eye opening to how God put the cruelty of a religious group on display to the world and at the same time showed the hearts of other nations as well.

The truth of reality is infinitely better than fiction. In my opinion.

I absolutely became immersed in the life of Mariam, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about the miracles and lessons there comes through long suffering, and the performance captivated me through every segment of the unbelievable tale… Though I have read many similar accounts, this is by far, my favourite, in a long time…

Astonishingly awesome account of one woman’s Faith

The only reason a movie won’t be made about this story is probably because Hollywood ain’t got the balls to do it!

Yet this story must be told to bring about freedom from repressive religions
