DNF at Chapter 4 — This Was Painful

I never leave reviews on Audible, but I had to warn others: this was absolutely awful. I’m four chapters in and had to tap out—it’s that bad. The narration is by an AI voice (??) and it completely killed any chance of getting into the story. Flat, robotic, awkward pacing—just awful.

As for the plot? If you can even call it that—insta-love, cringe nicknames, and zero chemistry. The main characters fall into an emotional relationship before we even learn anything real about them. It’s every ick I have in romance books served on a silver platter… with no seasoning.

And seriously, how does this have five stars? I’m convinced these reviews are fake or people are listening to an entirely different book. Save your credit. Save your time. Go listen to literally anything else.
