traurig und depressiv
es ist gut geschrieben, ja vielleicht literarisch wertvoll, aber das Ganze spricht mich nicht an.
Zwar gibt es viele kleine und grosse highlights, ob das die subtile Beschreibung der Nazismus in der Familie oder schicksalhafte Depressionen über Generationen, das der ich Erzähler irgendwie ein Ende bereiten möchte.
Stil und Ansatz zur Begin bahnen ein Weg tatsächlich zu ein grosses Werk, und ich als Leser las bis zu Ende in der grosse Erwartung das endlich es zu finden....aber alles endet in nichts, ausser Traurigkeit, Depression, Hoffnungslosigkeit.
Das eine grosse Tageszeitungsrezensent noch als 'moderne Abraham' Geschichte erheben will oder ein andere findet es als "ein großes Lesevergnügen" , finde ich alles übertrieben...Ein andere summiert es als ' Todtraurig ist das Buch'. Da stimme ich voll zu....und damit für mich nur bedingt lesenswert, trotz der hervorragende Vorleser.
