Serial Killers - So interesting

I have never really been interested in books like these but after listening to these stories I am hooked. How can people like this really exist? It is so interesting hearing these monster's stories. I do have to warn that this is not for the faint of heart. Ready for more!!

I enjoyed the way that they go together.

I enjoyed this collection and the narration as well, I was able too listen all the way through at once, and stay interested all the way through.

I feel like he read the book with pauses in mid sentence... but without seeing the book I'm unsure if that is how it was written

Great writer

Ryan Becker is one of the best true crime writers I've found. He gets to the nitty gritty without unnecessary fluff to just fill pages.

Consistently Great!

Ryan Becker & The True Crime Seven consistently impress me with their work.
I'm a life long fan at this point!

The narrator is also consistently great. He walks you through these stories perfectly!

ugh, the narrator

this is a great book. I learned alot about six serial killers I never even heard of.
but the narrators stop and go speech made me feel like I was listening to William Shatner on fast forward

True-Crime Cases

This book is well researched as far as I can tell. I was familiar with all of these cases prior to listening to this audio. The authors state they used court documents, interviews and other information for these books. I don't doubt the authors worked hard to produce this book.

That being said, I had a few issues. While the authors state they don't condone her horrific murders, they spend a chunk of time mitigating Mary Bell's crimes. There are dramatizations of scenes that are clearly author conjecture. There were a few moments the authors were glib and flippant, considering the seriousness of the subject. A small nitpick: Marcus Wesson is a mass-murderer, not a serial killer.

Turning to narration: The narrator, Michael Goodrick, delivers a nice performance. His newscaster-like tone gives weight to the nightmares he is describing.

Overall, not a bad book. If you love true-crime, it's a worthwhile listen.

Much better narration from the first.

Unlike like the first book where the narrator had odd pauses, this one had more range and no noticeable pauses. The author gives straight to the point info and is enjoyable.

Very interesting! provided details unknown to me. Viewpoint was neutral, taking no sides.
unfortunately, the performers cadence was choppy and felt unnatural. Still, worth the listen!
