Closure

Lynette Eason is one of my favorite authors. She sets fire to the pages of this book as the arsonist sets fires all over Lake City. This is book three of the series but can stand alone. You will find it a richer experience if you read each one in order.

Persistence

Great story that reminded us to seek God for guidance in every aspect of life. The story involved solving the Juslaine’s family. Juslaine, with the help of her friends and Nate, has a harrowing adventure to solve the current string of fires.

Amazing conclusion!

What a blazing finish to the series! Lots of arson here, but who is setting them? Why? Firefighters and FBI fight to solve the mystery before our leading lady perishes! There’s a little romance, lots of suspense, and a faith theme too! I love it and the whole series! You should read the books in order if possible.
I enjoyed the narrator too!

Lynette Eason’s Best book ever!

I have read many books by Lynette Eason and I love them all. But Serial Burn tops them all! So much adventure, tenderness, suspense, and best of all encouraging words from God’s word about so many issues, including mental health, suicide, forgiveness, and much, much more. I don’t know how she continues to write such amazing books that keep getting better and better. I am looking forward to the next one!

Good storyline, very robotic narration

As usual, Eason has written a great storyline. However, the narration comes off very robotic. I did sort of get used to it, but it is so strongly robotic that I found myself double checking that this wasn’t narrated by AI. I feel the narrator caused me to miss the humor in certain areas and definitely kept me from relating more to the characters.
