Philly Thompson lives with his cat, Irving, in a one-bedroom apartment in Chicago. He worries about his weight, frets about his job, is tempted to get back with his ex-girlfriend, and wishes his ma would stop nagging him.

When he meets a strangely dressed man on the bus, he stops worrying about his grandmother, who’s in the hospital, and starts questioning his own mental health. Apparently no one else can see the strange guy. Which must mean he’s not really there. Except there he is always hanging around, all day long. And for days in a row.

When Philly stumbles into this extraordinary experience, he has little faith of his own. Religion is okay for his grandma. But not for him. And this visit from the guy claiming to be Jesus seems to go beyond what his grandma has told him about her faith. Who will believe him if he tells what he is seeing and hearing?

If he tells, will Philly be rejected yet again? Will his family and friends just decide he’s crazier than they imagined? Or will the people around him let Philly’s experience lift them out of their suffering and light their lives with hope?

This is the first book in the Seeing Jesus series, originally written as a stand-alone novel.

Seeing Jesus

This book was sooooo good! Some really great points wether you are religious or not. I laughed, cried and had so many feels! highly recommend!!!!

Very Insightful

I loved how it reminded me that Jesus is truly with us at all times. Also. that Jesus has a sense of humor. As humans we tend to forget that Jesus was human and still God, with His human part experiencing everything we experience. Sorrows, pain, love and joy.We forget that and this book was a nice reminder. I've recommended this book to my daughter. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Thank you again for the reminder that Jesus is always with us.

I loved how this story shows how Jesus works with humans to manifest healings and miracles.

Heart message

Well, written, kind presentation of relational access to the.Messiah. Well worth the time to listen and investment of emotions. The characters are believable and interesting.

The Middle Eastern stranger on the bus

A joyful read - certainly not for everyone but a specific group who still believe in taking to Jesus. There’s always a cost to such an intimacy.

I've read this book 2-3 times and have lost count of the times I've listened. I tell people about it all the time. Don't miss it! (then check out the rest of the series!)

Absolutely Delightful

I enjoyed this book so much. It was great to listen to and I am going to listen to the entire series. Christian books do not have to be serious in order to teach. This was funny and sweet, a feel good book. I'm not going to write a synopsis, I'd give too much away. If you want to feel good, listen to this book or read it, it's wonderful.

We can all hear Jesus!
