Fun story

I loved this book. It was so cute and the characters were great. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

A sweet second chance at love set in a small town. Whitney and Eli has been best friends and were starting to explore if there was more when Eli packed up and left. Now, 12 years later, can they try again, or are the past hurts to much to overcome?

This was my first Meg Easton Book, and I really enjoyed it. I’m excited to check out more of her work.

Courtney Lucien did a lovely job with the narration. Very entertaining.

Good plot

Whitney owner of the Nestled Hollow Gazette, the success was that it’s focus on issues and the happening of the people. The TeamUp training grounds Eli loved his job. Now going home for one and half months, wasn’t easy. He remembers the girl twelve years ago when he left, Whitney. He would be here until after the Fall Market, taking his dad’s place. His parents made him come back to run the store. For Whitney it took two years after he left, to get over hi, and she doesn’t date. Two head strong people need to talk things over, and forgiveness. Everyone in town knew what happened back then, would they be for or against them working together. Nice enjoyable story of second chances.

A WONDERFUL CLEAN ROMANCE!

THE NARRATOR LIZ KRANE. DID A WONDERFUL AUDIO! THE STORY IS SWEET AND FUN!

(4.5 stars) - what a touching story!

This is such a great story. Whitney and Eli have both had to deal with a lot of difficult stuff in their lives. Frankly, as the conflict peaked, I just wanted to hug them both - especially poor Eli. I wanted to chew his dad out so bad.

While it's an angsty story, it didn't feel contrived, & thankfully, has a lot of lightheartedness to keep it from being too much. You can see where the main characters, despite their success as adults, have gotten stuck stewing in their own emotional damage. So there's a real sense of joy when they not only find their path out to begin healing, but meet each other there!

The ending and the epilogue are really fun, too!

*Religion: some moments of characters praying for guidance, flows naturally to the story, nothing preachy

[The narrator does a good job with the voices and keeping each character distinguishable from the rest]

A Wonderful Sweet Read!

This book is EXCELLENT! Definitely worthy of adding to your TBR/LISTEN to list! Such wonderful characters, a terrific storyline! This is a perfect clean, sweet romance!!!

Cute story and good start to the series

Whitney and Eli were friends turned HS sweethearts 12 yrs ago...then he walked away without any further contact. Now he’s back in Nestle Hollow to help run his father’s business, while he recovers from surgery. Oh, and he’s teamed up with Whitney to plan and decorate for the town’s Fall event! Can this pair work through their separate issues of abandonment and failures to find love?
You will find the story enjoyable if you love small town romances.

Very entertaining.

I absolutely adore this book. I love the beautiful setting of the small town. Whitney and Eli’s characters where perfectly paired. I loved the little detail about Whitney’s punny shirts. They made me chuckle. I enjoyed that it was a sweet and clean second romance. It was very entertaining.
The narrator also did a fantastic job and played the characters very well.

Heartwarming story of second chances in love and life. Touching storyline and vibrant characters who were well portrayed by the performer.

Small town, second chance

Eli and Whitney were high school sweethearts until Eli left twelve years. Both have successful careers and are contented, if not lonely, lives. When Eli needs to return home to assist with the family business, the old feelings for each other begin to apear. Can the couple get passed their feelings of abandonment and insecurities to make their relationship work?


I really loved this book. Maybe it's because I grew up in one, but small town romances are my favorite. Second Chance on the Corner of Main was no exception. This was my first book by Meg Easton and I will definitely be reading more from her. Narrator Courtney Lucien did a wonderful job voicing the characters and being them to life
