Great Story

I really loved this story. The plot was interesting. The characters were so believable. The AI narrative was pretty good overall. A couple of times it was so-so but generally pretty good. Alexa always writes great books.

No AI for me

This was the first book I listened to that was AI narrated. I really didn’t like that. All the characters sounded the same! It made it very hard to figure out who was talking. Was very monotone and therefore didn’t keep my attention very well at all.

Loved the story… but not a huge fan of the “virtual voice” narration.

Story was good, it was my first listen by this author. I enjoyed the storyline itself, but it was a struggle to listen to with the virtual voice. In my opinion, my Siri sounds more realistic than what was chosen for this narration. Many of the voice inflections were off and the timing of at the end of various sentences were also oddly delayed. Again, the story was good, but I wouldn’t choose the audiobook if you truly want to enjoy it.

Second chance mystery

This was an exciting story of second chances and long kept secrets. After Siler left her fiancee for 15 years due to threats and tragedy she returns home to help plan her grandmother's wedding. Then the mystery of her past started unraveling, but she was able to reconnect with the love of her life.

Hated virtual voice

The virtual voice was terrible. The characters were off or sounded the same. Overall, storyline was good and kept my interest.

hate the AI narrator

I couldn't even finish chapter 2. The AI narrator has no emotions/feelings. It sounds like just what it is, a robot. I'll never waste my time on another book with AI narrator. It's horrible.
