Continued excellence

The incredible story of book 1 is carried over to books 2 & 3. I can’t wait to hear book 4. The only thing not liking is that eventually the series will need to end

Love Series where Witches are Mindful

They are called mages here and are highly valued. Good, enjoyable series. MM romance so male focus but women are also valued in this dragon and mage culture.

Amazing!!! Best dragon audiobook of the year!

These two stories are fantastic! The first has such an intricate and detailed plot that it is like an action/adventure movie in your head! The second is a bit shorter, so less explosions, but still excellent story building. Both are amazing in their characters, believability, amazing chemistry, great push/pull without having tortuous angst (a huge plus to me!) and are so fun! Joel Leslie always makes me happy, but he goes above and beyond in this audiobook. Seriously- there are always little pet peeves I have to ignore in audiobooks, however, there was nothing in this story that bugged me! Characters are German and Finnish- I watch a lot of foreign tv, and from what I can tell, the accents are spot on without being overdone/fake! Even better is the fact that the narration between conversations is done in an English accent. It makes each character stand out, so no matter where you start in the book you can understand who is speaking. Two thumbs up, six out of five stars, 150%, A++

Another fabulous two books in this series. I loved the narration as well, he was so animated and just brought the story to life. Highly recommended!

Joel Leslie delivers a cast of fully realized characters in a tour de force vocal performance that will have you thinking the audiobook is performed by an entire ensemble cast. Each character is distinct, every emotion easily identifiable.

Get the whole series, starting with Origin. You'll be glad you did. These three are magical together

📖 Story comment: I enjoyed both Breath and Wish - they're good additions to the overarching story, their characters are likeable, the pace was good and the world building continues to develop and entertain.

🎧 Narrator comment: Joel Leslie is a master voice actor and he captures these characters perfectly. His voices are consistent from book 1, he has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish all the characters from each other. Overall an excellent performance and he's done a delightful job bringing this world to life.

Places

Joel is one of my fave narrators. loved the real locations, for those so inclined: Sonthofen, Germany; Nuorgam, Sodankyla, Kuusomo, and Utsjoki Finland. The Ordensburg (from book 1) is in Sonthofen, just south of the Kurpatk.

Loved it!!!

I loved both stories !! Not even gunna attempt to spell out their names lol but my favorite was the second book in this bundle. Short and sweet.
Joel Leslie is a master! He is doing a wonderful job at. Narrating with all these accents!!

Not for everyone

I really wanted to like this. High point: Joel Leslie is an amazing voice actor. This is my first with accents, and he did amazing. If you like romance and sex with a bit of a plot, this might be for you. I, however, like a story with some romance folded in. The sappy, unrealistic, and repetitive dialogue/internal dialogue between the love interests got in my way. I found myself fast forwarding and hoping I didn’t miss any plot points.
