The story:

Dan Abnett Strikes Again!

Without a doubt my favorite book of the series thus far. Johnathan Keeble is on the top of his game and really catches the nuances in the text that you could never get from reading alone. The second narrator playing the sister of silence does not disappoint and even goes as far to make me start to get choked up toward the end, I literally had to make sure no one else was around as to see me get misty eyed from a
40k novel. Top notch.

favorite so far

other then the one major story flaw I really loved it. I dont want to spoil it, but anyone reading through HH will know what I'm talking about. getting annoyed with the lack of Sang fighting

best book in the series so far

wow this book just blew my mind about the emperor, and the sacrifice that had to be made. and the final minute WOW🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱 this is a must buy

Favorite HH book since Betrayer

This is Betrayer levels of good. Holy balls. So many juicy scenes. Can’t recommend enough.

Lots of Revelations in this one. Excellent detail of how the battle for Terra is progressing. Who's side are you on?

Best so far

Saturnine is the first book in a long time that dares to change the established lore, and it's for the better. There were so many pleasant and great changes to the story in a narrative that's gripping and wildly action-filled.

I'm not gonna lie. At this point, the Horus Heresy to me was getting stale. There are very few books in the franchise that I've opted to give a perfect rating on because most of them expound on Warhammer, but never attempt to add to it.

This one did otherwise and I personally love every single addition to the lore.

Oh and Jonathan Keeble, as always, does a fantastic job. He's very much the voice of the Imperial Fists to me and this was one of his best performances thus far.

No Regrets

Wonderful writing with great characters. Banging narrations. I really enjoyed the voice that reads for the Sister of Silence.

Confused

I waited a while to pick this one up because of all the negative reviews. Dead honest this was one of the best in the entire Horus Heresy series so far. Now I will admit I have not read the entire series yet I kind of fell off around book 16 but thanks to audio books I'm able to catch up and so far I have no complaints. sorry I waited so long.
