What has my sister done that gets herself killed?
That is the big question in this latest story of the series. Payton is in the house when the murder happens. She has to flee to protect herself and her niece. The only "safe" place to go is to the city where her ex-husband is. But neither of them can figure out what Payton's sister has that the killer desperately wants. I certainly didn't figure out the plot. Ms. Brunk did an excellent job narrating the story. I received a free copy. This is my voluntary opinion.

Couldn’t stop listening!
I have loved the whole series so far and this newest book is my new favorite. I enjoyed it so much that I found myself taking extra walks and finding things to do just so I could listen longer.

A sweet second chance at love
I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys clean romantic suspense. The characters have to work on personal healing before they can see a second chance for their marriage. Just the right amount of suspense and romance all while being faith based but not preachy.
