Delightful!

Emmie Walker is a highly-touted dog trainer who one day hopes to own her own service-dog training facility. She can barely cover her living expenses so she'll take any job possible to care for her grandmother. Prince Dorian Tennesley has the British press hot on his heels due to a disastrous relationship with a vengeful American actress. His mother, the queen, has ordered him to go on a goodwill tour through America at least until the rumors have died down and, amazingly, Emmie is hired to travel with the prince and handle his dog, Gatsby. When Emmie and Dorian first meet, there's a connection between them, but Emmie has an even better connection with the adorable, but out of control, Corgi. There's so much to love about this story, including an out of sorts queen, a slightly ambivalent sister and a brother who thinks he rules the roost. The butler, the personal assistant, the limo driver and especially Grandma add layers of entertainment, British and American culture and well-imagined characters.
I listened to the audiobook version and Suzanne T. Fortin is a terrific narrator and voice artist. She did a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and giving each their own voice and personality. She sets the perfect tone for the story and captures the characters' emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.

Romantic

Royally Unexpected by Laura Ashwood is an excellent wholesome romance comedy. Suzanne T. Fortin did an excellent job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, wholesome, sweet, heartwarming, romantic,heartfelt, and funny. Emmie wants to open her own service dog training facility. Prince Dorian needs to fixs his PR image. They meet when Emmie trains a pampered pooch. They spend time together and feeling develop. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend

Emmie and Prince Dorian are forced to spend time together while traveling on a good will tour and things quickly heat up between them leading to a royally good happily ever after narration was great enjoyed it!
