Cade kissed Wyn Bailey. Cade said, I have been duly warned. Wyn said, you know I can take you down. They were exercising on the mats at the yoga studio. I guess you know, I owe you for taking Cade down. Wyn was doing kind things to others. She took groceries to Andrea to welcome her to the neighborhood. When Cade took Wyn home in his cop car, they were making out like teenagers. Andrea said, when I moved away from Portland, I thought he would move on. He was my husbands partner, Jason. He raped Andrea, he got this horrible expression on his face and he raped me. He said, I love you. The funeral I was lost. I didn't even know how to start the lawn mower. He was Jason's partner, his best friend. He seemed wrecked by Jason's death. After the funeral, I was lost. He helped with the leaky faucets. He cleaned out the gutters. I was so grateful to hem then. Everything started to change. I gave him a sweater from me and the kids. Things between us became strange. He wanted to hug me and touch me al the time. Finally, I decided he needed to be with his own family. He needed to stop coming around so much. Cade kissed Wyn on the porch and he said, I love you too. Then when Wyn got shot when she went inside, I cried. It was a head wound. Her mother cried because Wyn was shot in the head. Cade said it was devastating holding up sweet little Andrea. He's in jail now and won't be going anywhere for a long time. Robert Warren was being held in the Lake Haven Count jail facing kidnapping, assault and attempted murder. The case against him was so strong, she had every belief he had soon realize, He had no choice but to plead guilty and serve prison time. By the time he got out Andrea's children would be grown and possibly having families of their own. Wyn smiled thinking of those cute kids, because of them, she knew Andrea would be okay. Her friend was resilient and in a short time, she felt her friend was an important part of the thread forever. I don't know what Cade was doing letting you get shot. Cade was thrilled with Wyn. Cade was refusing to walk away from the hospital. He stayed with her every night. Her dad said, "you can do hard things." She loved Cade Emmett. And Uncle Mike was a good man. So hopefully, one day they will marry. They went to a wedding and Cade was dressed in a sharp blue suit, and Wyn was so in love with Cade. She told him at her house that she was in love with him, and she has loved him since they were teenagers. Hopefully Cade and Wyn will get married someday.

Old enough and together enough that they really should have just jumped to the end. Fun book though.
