What did you love best about Rite of Passage: A Short Story of A Young Teen Trying to Make it Right, from Killing his Younger Brother?

Not to give away a spoiler but the ending was one of the best I've come across in a while when it comes to audiobook stories.

What other book might you compare Rite of Passage: A Short Story of A Young Teen Trying to Make it Right, from Killing his Younger Brother to and why?

There is not a particular book that comes to mind.

What about Steve Chase’s performance did you like?

The narrator Steve Chase, did a excellent job in narrating the story, making important moments like the accidental death with using the gun, very real. I could feel as if I was there every minute of the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it kept my attention from the beginning to the end.

Any additional comments?

The author's word section was quite touching and was a great start to such a wonderful short audiobook.

I really liked this short, meaningful story. The author states that it was originally written as a screen play and after listening to it I'd love to see it as a film. As the story unfolded I found myself pulled into the story. Well written with deep meaning and interesting characters (that I'd like to know more about!) this is a story about life choices, making up for the past and what happens after death. I couldn't get this out of my head and found myself dwelling on it hours after I finished it. It has a great ending that is quite thought provoking. It's just under an hour long which is the perfect length for a gym session or commute. I'm new to audiobooks but after this book I will definitely get more!

Hauntingly beautiful

Yes I would, it's a nice short story. I felt like the little about the author bio was touching and real. I cried. The audio book is nice and short so you could listen to it on your way to and from work.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The German shepherd. I have a German Shepherd and I enjoyed that little added part to the book.

Have you listened to any of Steve Chase’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

His work is done, he has saved 100 souls and can now move on.
