Reseñas editoriales
Rudyard Kippling's irresistible language is brought to a new level with Cindy Hardin Killavey's performance of Riki Tiki-Tavi. This famous excerpt from The Jungle Book centers on the adventures of a heroic mongoose with pink eyes. There is nothing like listening to Kippling's delightful world of animals in action. Killavey's lyric narration and Walter Zimmerman's virtuosic rendition of characters makes this audiobook a wonderful companion for anyone who wishes to travel the world without moving an inch.

Where does Riki-Tiki-Tavi rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Well, considering I am rating the audiobook, not so much the book, I'd say that Riki.T.T. is kind of low actually. I was recommended it as an introduction to how Kipling writes (by a major Kipling fan), and while I do very much like the story, the narrator for this book was disappointing.Who was your favorite character and why?
Favorite character was actually the male bird. Despite being not so bright, I liked him for his slow of mind way.How could the performance have been better?
The performance itself was...less than par. The narrator did do her best to add emphasis and emotion to the story- which she did. I appreciate that, however, her voice was not what I would have chosen for this book. All but two of the characters in the book were male, so I'm not certain why a female was chose to read the story. I am also a bit picky though, preferring the narrators gender to match the author or the majority of characters genders. The audio quality on this particular audio book was also very poor. You can hear strange audio ghosts from the narrators voice as you listen. Almost like a muffled echo.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I personally like Riki's first kill.Any additional comments?
Perhaps re-record with same narrator if you must? This audio seems old.Good childrens story, but---
