I am a 42yo straight married woman who's a sucker for MM books. I really enjoyed this one. Max is a new author for me and I loved the writing. The suspense, the drama, the laughs, the aww moments and the off the charts 🔥🔥🔥 . I can't wait for the next one to come out on audio. And speaking of audio... Mr. Boudreaux good lawddd! Perfection 💯

A masterfully written story with the perfect balance between mystery, the right amount of tension and romance.

Really enjoyable!

I love a good drag show and wish I lived closer to where they were! So it was fun to read a book about them! It’s a quick easy read which I also listened too. I love Greg!!!

Boudreaux for the win

I’m always eager to listen to a book read by Greg Boudreaux but this one had me smiling. The way he created distinctly different voices and accents for the characters in this book were amazing. My favourite is his New Zealand accent which is VERY tricky for an American to pull off!
Like other reviewers, I also enjoyed the foray into dragdom, having not read a story like this one before. Max Walker is in my top 5 fave authors and I’m so glad I listened to this one.

Another great addition

Max Walker, these Stonewall Investigation books are well written and definitely entertaining. each book has a great storyline and is easy to follow. Each detective solves a mystery, catches a killer and finds the love of their life. HEA endings with a lot of heat and action. Greg Boudreaux as always gives these stories life and each character a personality with his awesome narration. always a one click buy for me. get this book Gey all of the Stonewall Investigations books. well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Another decent installment

This Authors stories follow a very predictable template. The story was entertaining and I was able to comfortably suspend disbelief. Like I said, if you’re comfortable with this author’s books, you won’t be surprised much. Outrageously big and spectacular things happen every day in this town of 8k people. The only thing that kicked me out of the story (It’s the same reason with this Author every time) was an intimate scene where lube was not used. This practice is very painful and should never be encouraged under any circumstances (unless this is a dark story with proper trigger warnings). But, overall this was a great trip back to this universe. I think every small town in the USA should have an indoor drag show rivaling the ones in Las Vegas. Bye for now.

Too Whinny

Elijah was way too whinny and really too away from the narration and overall story. I know he was a drag queen but drag queens are not so whinny and flaky. Not a good representation for drag queens
