in my opinion this was a great adventure seeking story, just the way I like it :)

Enjoyed it a lot. The narrator keeps you in suppence . If you like stories about magic and Dragons you will enjoy this alot.

Awesome series. Exciting, captivating, and thrilling. Hard to put down. Narration was excellent. I will be looking for more by Ava Richardson.

Passes the Bechdel Test

This is a phenomenal work of fiction that is on par with Eragon and The Chronicles of Amber. The story is captivating and the narrator does a good job of making sure the characters are able to be differentiated. I could not more highly recommend this series to anyone.

a tale of epic dragons and their heroic riders

I really enjoy this author's tales of dragons and their riders... their growth, their bond, their growth to overcome adversity. she does a good job of character building and world building so you become invested in the characters and their journey. the narrator does a good job with differentiating perspectives by voices and overall I really enjoyed and highly recommend both boxed sets I've listened to. If you grew up on the dragonriders of pern like I did, you will want to check out these books!

good stuff in this book

stop making me put down so many words for my review. i deleted everything i typed because it was too annoying to type. great book snd shame on you audible

Moving along until the halfway point!

Am giving this review in the middle of the book --- which I NEVER do. The story was moving along pretty well and the characters and story line was OK. There is a little difficulty understanding which character is speaking until they say a few lines. There is a male and female lead character -- and the narrator does not do a good job switching between the two with their voice.

The story line is 24+ hours --I am about 15 hours in (chapter 50-53). I think the writer or the narrator has taken a Valium or sleeping pill. Currently in the middle of a long long snooze fest where the story is in perpetual slow motion, way too much explanation and description about scenery, feelings, thoughts etc. PLUS the narrator voice changes are even harder to understand who is thinking, feeling, etc. I didn't know a book could hit a low boring pointfor SO long -- will they ever dig out of this trench? Yawn!!.....

Will write an update after I take a break.

I enjoyed the new take on dragon and human interaction. The family and community feel was enriching.

This was a very adventurous series. There was a good balance of action, descriptions, and explanations. The narrator did a good job of distinguishing between the voices.
