Another good read

I love ❤ the series, lots of humor, suspense and thrills. I have not been disappointed with any of the books. Very good job by the narrator.

Great Story

Loved it!! The reader is awesome. The whole series is great. Funny, great story line.

This series is losing me, repetitive and formulaic

I've read the author's entire Miss Fortune series, and enjoyed it thoroughly. but this earlier series is just a little too formulaic and repetitive. All the primary characters are gorgeous, they all fall in love, and many of the situations are too similar throughout the series. I intend to finish it, but will be moving on to another author afterwards. However if another book in The Miss Fortune series is released, I will gladly read it.

Can I move to Mudbug?

Another good installment. This one is missing the sex, but as that was not a major part of previous stories, that's OK. There are smoldering moments, and catty comments, and appreciative looks. That's enough. :-)
The first day on the job has been pretty rough for our main character, but she has walked into a job working near a relative she has not been allowed to be around before, who jumps in to be supportive. Her mother did not think that her Mudbug relatives were good enough, and Marrisa proves her wrong. I wish that there had been a chapter or 2 spent on that background. It sounds like that could be a really good story! People die, and it gets kind of gory and dangerous. There is also backstory on our male main character that I would like to hear more about.
This story seems to be missing a couple of chapters. Oh well. It was still very good, and I finished it in about 24 hours. As always, a good, light read. It's full of characters that I enjoy hearing about, and I think I would like to meet and probably live next-door to. I figured out who the bad guy was pretty quickly, but that didn't cut out the fun of watching Helena make an idiot of herself, or the others try to figure out the puzzle of who did what.

Jana DeLeon is a true entertainer!! Couldn't wait for next chapter to begin!! Truly FABULOUS!!!

I love this series! Many great characters. Johanna Parker is excellent narrating. Must read this series.

Helene is back

A year after her ascent God has kicked Helene out of heaven. Jaden St. James is new to Mudbug as the Forest Service Officer for the preserve. Now there seems to be a killer on the loose. Quirky story and characters. Recommend.

One question

I love this series, but I am super confused. Does Luke work for DEQ or DEA? The narrator seems to use both acronyms to describe him from one book to another.
