Acerca de esta escucha
They say life begins at 40 — and for me, that couldn't be more true. In many ways, it’s been a season of blossoming: personal milestones, hard-won successes, and deeper self-understanding. But turning 40 also brought an unexpected companion: discomfort. A stubborn ache under my ribcage, a foggy mind I couldn’t shake, and a creeping realization that I’d been neglecting my body through years of no so healthy eating and careless food choices.
This book was born out of that discomfort — but also out of hope.
What began as a desperate search for relief slowly unfolded into something much more profound: a return to simplicity, nourishment, and intentional living. I didn’t just change what I ate — I began to listen. To my body. To my spirit. Even to the quiet in between. And in that silence, I found something sacred.
I’ve never been one to turn to medication for my health. For me, that door was and always closed, I do not have single pill not even headache medication like advil — not out of stubbornness, but because I believe deeply that food is my medicine. I had to find healing another way. Through prayer, fasting, and mindful, whole-food eating and rest I discovered a renewed sense of clarity, emotional balance, and physical restoration. Nature gave me what I needed — I just had to return to it with intention.
This isn’t a strict health manual or a preachy wellness manifesto — it’s a real, messy, sometimes funny, often challenging journey. There were cravings, missteps, unexpected joy, and a whole lot of grace.
If you’re here because you’re ready for a reset — whether physical, emotional, or spiritual — I hope my story meets you where you are. This is an invitation to reconnect with your body, reimagine your relationship with food, and remember how powerful it is to choose yourself, one small decision at a time.
Let’s take it one meal, one moment, one prayer at a time — with respect, joy, and yes, a little dessert.
