You Gotta Love Nick Podehl

A variety of unique characters. The second book is even better than the first. Tarak is such a rogue. And what better person to voice a rogue than Podehl.

This story had me laughing, crying, edge of my seat!

Terik, a bafoon with a good heart, maturing, and becoming something bigger.

All characters have a personality. The narrator, is very talented. I couldn’t wait to listen to this right after the first book!!

loved the characters and intensity of this story. I will continue to read future books form this author

The character growth was touching

I really loved to see the characters mature, and how Tarak not only evolved, but that he started to feel the importance in his work. Originally he was against leaders and they’re often oppressive actions. But now he’s learned there are good leaders, and he has faith in them. The ending was heartwarming and a huge step towards him understanding the positive impact he’s capable of making. I don’t think he sees himself as shite as he previously stated anymore. He’s got a confidence that he’s rightfully earned and I’m excited to see where it takes us.

Tearing is coming alone well!

I dont often leave reviews, but this book needed it. fantastic story, world building, and character development id leave a 12/10 score if I could.

The worst part about this book is that it ends and I no have to be patient and wait for the next one !

Love the story and would’ve been awesome, but the narrator is just terrible!!! It’ll be awesome if they have someone reread it!!!

the story is self is good but...

The author tends to get lost in the sauce and turns the book into a music/magic text book every other chapter. Why are you getting so specific with a magic system that doesn't really exist??? half the book is just explaining the magic system. keep it short and sweet. "i.e. you have a light saber? how does it work? magic crystal." you don't get into the physics of it.
