Thrilling Instalment

This one of those series that once started becomes compulsive listening.

In this thrilling instalment of this series, the danger and suspense continue to escalate, the demon king has been partially successful in getting through the gate and the fate of everyone hangs in the balance, and the race is on to defeat the King before he attains his full powers.

There is non-stop action and secrets are revealed, what will become of the relationship between the hunters and council when the full extent of the betrayal is revealed? Will Shannon make the right decisions and be able to protect Daryn and Caleb with her own life and powers hanging by a thread?

The narration is by Katie Hagaman who does a wonderful job of bringing this adventure to life.

Audiobook:
I can't get enough of this series on audio as Katy Hagaman does a great job with portraying different vocal pitches for various characters. I especially enjoy the emotion she is able to capture throughout this book as well as the series. I can't wait for the next installment.

Oh My, What’s Next

Oh my, so much is going on with the demon king still running rampant, the dead are rising with no help in sight. I am so loving and enjoying Daryn and Shannon being fated mates. Things are rapidly changing with all the fighting and battles with no end in sight. Can’t wait to see what going to happen next.

This book, this series has been one roller coaster ride after another! Book 7 is a killer; you would think by now it would get diluted as sometimes that happens in series (past not now) but this series just gets better! These books are like potato chips you just can't stop at one!! The action, the magic, the evil and romance...this series has it all!! Run don't walk, pass go without buying every one of these books you will not regret it I promise you! Katie Hagaman does a great job at bringing these stories to life!!

Enjoyed

Shannon and Darrin must face off with the demon prince, all sorts of demons, and the demon king. Along the way, they learn of secrets and truths that had been hid from them. Shannon is faced with a choice to sacrifice her son or her mate. Which one will she choose? There's so many twist and turns to this story. It seems once one mystery is solved with traitors, deaths, and magical beings, then they're left with more questions needing answered. This book will keep you on the edge of you seat and guessing what's gonna happen next.

The audiobook is done very well and Katie Hagaman does an excellent job with the narration.

A Battle for Humanity!

Right out of the gate, this book pulled me into its richly woven tapestry of magic, danger, and emotional stakes. Shannon's determination and inner struggles were palpable, and the growing threat of the Demon King gave me goosebumps. The narration was stellar—Katie Hagaman doesn't just read; she performs. Her voice brought Shannon's courage, Daryn’s steadfastness, and even the sinister whispers of the Demon King to life.
This book feels like a culmination of everything the series has been building toward, with enough twists and reveals to make your head spin.

The pacing of this book is relentless, the stakes impossibly high, and the emotional depth profound. I laughed, cried, and held my breath more times than I can count. I’ll be revisiting this series, for sure, and I cannot wait for the next one!
