This book was one of the most inspiring book for a young girl

I could totally relate to the issue that she faced and I felt very inspired to step out of my comfort zone from this book

very motivated story help me though some hard time

love it, let me know we all have our problem to deal with, but as long we keep up our faith we could go through it. thank you so much Jenn.

This is a very interesting and funny autobiography of a young woman who became a YouTube sensation with, as of August 2014, over two million subscribers and more than 45 million views of her videos. The author explains how she got started at the age of 12 and continues up through age 19.

The book contains a lot of "top 10" lists; some of them were boring for me, but others were hilarious and/or insightful. Thanks to the advice of one of her teachers she realizes that what she is doing for fun can become her job or career. There is a lot of useful information for anyone considering publishing on YouTube or similar websites.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter, glad I did.

I learned more about my own daughter than I expected. I bought her the paperback and she is studying it carefully. The text is lighthearted, informative and insightful. The author has written in a very personal way about her journey into YouTube celebrity. It is not a DIY or How to, but a diary about the day to day and, the highs and lows. She explains what motivates her to create content and what sustains her through her challenges. Well done, a good example to her young fans.

BEST BOOK EVER!!!

This book is incredible and amazing in every way. I would specially recommend this book to teens for language reasons, but I read it and I'm technically not a teen but whatever. Overall, I ❤️❤️❤️ this book.

This book was a motivation!

When I purchased it I didn't know what I was actually buying. I wanted to get a better understanding of YouTube channels so I could incorporate the information into my Artistry Business Plan. I definitely got a understanding of where YouTube Channels started and how it could work for me.

Jenn if your reading this review I want you to know that Im 25 so I didn't relate to your high school days, but I did listen to this book straight through taking notes on what you had to say about YouTube Channels

keep Living Your Dream!

Nice from a 19 Year old

Overall, it's a nice accomplishment from 19-year-old girl to write a book. There were some interesting chapters in it, especially about her various accounts getting hacked.
However I expected a slightly deeper content, maybe I am just too old and want more practical advice from professionals.
For young people it's a generally interesting story about another young person following her aspirations and hobbies, showing how to make a career out of something most people would not think is possible: which is making YouTube videos.
To me this was not so groundbreaking.
Her voice performance I really enjoyed though. :)

I wasn't her target market

When I read the book details, I noticed: "An insider's guide to building a successful YouTube channel".

I assumed that the book would be brimming with tips, tricks, software names, strategies, how-to's, and all of that delicious technical stuff.

It turned out to be full of personal stories from her life, which I feel would mainly be of interest to her fans.

I hope that Jenn someday will branch out from her fan world, and try to relate to the rest of us out here by writing a book that applies to all of humanity, rather than just her list of fans.

Worthy of a listen

What made the experience of listening to Really Professional Internet Person the most enjoyable?

I like Jenn telling her story first hand. How she used technology to feel more connected when the people in her life were falling short.

Not really. I have a daughter close in age and it helped me understand what she might be going through a little better.
