Especially when she drops the baby off in my car and intends on sacrificing herself to save Dustin’s sorry hide. Not on my watch.

Entertaining!

This is the sixth book in the Tzars MC Series. I liked this interconnected series. Pepper and Rage's story is entertaining, filled with passion, danger, and twists and turns. Umi Markkanen did a great job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Eagle, the next book in the series. #StoryOrigin

Enjoyed it!

This was almost a second chance romance, but not really. The main characters know each other and she was living with the MMC’s brother. Something happens that has Pepper running to Rage to drop off her infant daughter. Rage has the clubhouse go after her because he is going to claim Pepper as his old lady. A lot is uncovered in this story and it’s more of a novella, but it’s a complete story nonetheless. The narrator did a great job.

Another MC member gets in the family way. This time Rage finally wises up to get the woman he loves. Umi Markkanen did a great job.

I love all the MC books. Marteeka Karland did amazing on this book. Just like all her books. UMI Markkanen did amazing like always. I always love listening to her.

Rage and Pepper!

I generally stop reading blurbs when they say brother's ex or anything that remotely screams love triangle. I had listened to other books by this author and MC so I kept reading. I thought to myself I will give it a try because I've enjoyed the others in this series. I'm glad I did because even Rage was Dustin's older half-brother, they weren't close. Rage always had interest in Pepper but wasn't going to try to poach someone's woman and he thought she deserved better than them both. Pepper had a lot of realizations and curveballs coming to her in this one. I loved Pepper and Rage together. Another quick listen with narrators that do a great job!

Great

This is one of the series I really enjoy. I like how it each book is one a member of the motorcycle group. The way each of them get there old lady. Pepper I would have made sure I killed that person no matter if I was grabbed or not.

Marteeka Karland knows how to deliver mc romances. Pepper and Rage. With the name Rage you'd think yuck. But no. Loved their story.

Family History

I gotta respect Virgil "Rage" Weston for stepping aside and letting Pepper be with his (good for nothing) brother, Dustin, when he believed it was what she wanted. When the fissure between Pepper and Dustin became irreparable, I love how Rage rolls in.

I won't go into details on why things are beyond repair. Just know that Dustin has earned everything that happens to him and so much more. So. Much. More.

I love Pepper's courage to do what she does at the beginning. It's not even close to an easy decision, and I'm uncertain I could do it, but she makes what she feels is the best possible decision given the circumstances. She's such a nice girl... well, that is until Rage gets her in the bedroom.

Speaking of, they are on fire. 🔥🔥🔥 It's over-the-top, but I enjoyed the ride!

Didn’t love the victim-blaming tendence Rage had, but that’s okay. I don’t have to love every characteristic of everyone. :)

Overall: 4 stars.

6th book

this mc universe has been incredible. The stories are interconnected and chok full of adventure and mayhem. In this latest journey we get the 2nd chance (ish) drama that sucks you right in.
