In cross referencing with the book, it only has 25 chapters. This book was—needed and I completely understand Helga’s want to make her life her own, and how that also seems impossible. And the fact that Nella LEFT US ON THIS CLIFFHANGER? whew!

Missing a chapter
Chapter 26 is a reading of Chapter 1. What happened to the end of the book?
Outside of that, the storyline is frustrating because of the mindset of the main character.
