Entertaining, beautifully crafted, full of heart

The story is fresh and full of life. I think it's daring to write a fantasy novel that addresses current themes of burning importance, and that is exactly what Ms. Mage has done. It rings true on the level of individual characters, but it's so much more than that. Quest speaks to the loss of our connection with the natural world, and the urgency of our need to regain that connection.
The narrator is brilliant, one of the best I've heard.

An exciting adventure, profound messages, and magical setting

Quest is one of those books that never leaves you. It’s easy to get swept away into the adventure - magical creatures, beautiful Irish countryside, wonderful characters and exciting drama.

But what really makes Quest special is that when you finish it, it’s almost like a guidebook for living a better, more connected life. You might find yourself looking and trees and flowers differently.

You may end up referring back to sections of the book when you’re challenged by something and need some ancient wisdom.

You may take the lessons Allan faces and apply them to your own unique journey.

It’s a quick listen and an easy read, but if you’re open to it, it will change your life. The narration is beautiful, the voices are great, and I’m blown away hearing Quest in this form.
