Quite Effective.

The background noise is very effective in helping me fall asleep. The one hour duration is long enough to get the job done.

too irritating - brown noise probably better

Would you try another book from Brain Hacker and/or Brain Hacker?

Had high hopes but longer than 15 mins this white noise is too irritating. I would try the pure brown noise instead, supposed to be easier to have in background. Since I've already bought one called Victoria Falls from someone else I won't be purchasing one from Brain Hacker too.

Where does Pure White Noise rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

So, the five stars for story might be a stretch...but definitely five stars for helping me concentrate in a busy, noisy cube farm. Helped increase my concentration and productivity.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The white noise...because it was the only character, and all I really needed.

What about Brain Hacker’s performance did you like?

The consistency of the sound mix.

Static...more than just annoying when the cable goes out.

So, it's a little odd writing a review on white noise, but just want the world to know, it is awesome. The frequency mix on this recording is much better than others I have tried-blocks out EVERYTHING, but didn't put me on edge. I liked the overall consistency, and that there were no added sounds [like water or birds].

Too short

Intricate plot and incredible narration ;) This is helpful, but too short for my 8+ hour workday. I have been asked to review this numerous times this week, so here it is!

Only 4 stars because it's too short

I love this white noise, and it's worth the credit. I listen almost nightly. But I wish it was longer than an hour. Some nights I can't sleep and clear my mind for longer than these two 'chapters'---I have to get back on my phone and go back to the beginning. Still worth it to me, but if you are looking for more than 1 hour probably not the best option

needs to be longer or have no one talking in the beginning so we can have it on repeat for longer sessions.
