Sweet and sexy

This was such a sweet and sexy Daddy/boy and teacher/student dynamic between the characters, with a great audio performance by Kenneth Obi.

I love how Baxter and Hagen's relationship slowly "snuck up: on both men. It just felt right and it happened so organically and naturally that they just flowed together. Sweet ending for bot guys. I voluntarily listened to this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing it to life.

Good story

I liked the story. It’s the narration that I had a problem with. There were sometimes I just zoned out and didn’t hear a single word! His lisp was so bad for me to really enjoy. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against lisps. My husband and son both have them, just this narrator’s was so bad, it was hard for me to really get into the book.

Begs for a sequel

I loved it! But it's too short! lol

I would LOVE to learn how they survived that semester, or if they moved mid semester (hope not). How their lives were in California, at least those first few months. What he decided to do for a career. I love that they are both into history! But what type of history is he into (just a mention would do)? How far into the BDSM life do they go into? Like do they go to the club even semi regularly? What other kink do they explore? What else is Daddy into?

I loved how immediately open he was. Not only to the lifestyle, but to communication, love, all of it. I'm not asking that it take more time to reach all of that. Far from it. I love the pace of the storyline. I just want more, lol.

Kenneth Obi has fast become one of my favorite narrators. I love the emotion and expressiveness of his voices.

Nora Phoenix is a favorite author. Her stories really draw me in and I quickly become invested in all aspects of the story.

Oh my, I think I got a toothache from how sweet this story was. An absolute delighr.
Everything about this read was delightful.
The narration was exceptional. I love the deep baritone of the Dom and the sweet voice of Baxter. I delighted in the dynamic the characters had throughout and was consumed in their obvious love.

This series is a huge MUST listen to. The story, the characters, and the narrator who brings it all together make the whole series an instant FAVORITE of mine. Deserves ALL THE STARS!

Good story with awesome character building. The story holds you captive with a connection to the various real life things that occur.

Sweet Daddy kink!

I love sweet Daddies! After Hagen figures out he's a Daddy Dom, he is a sweet, caring Daddy and I adore him! Baxter needs the care so badly. They have incredible chemistry. The story kept me interested the whole way through.
Obi did a great job. Each character had a distinctive voice. The emotions came through well.

Slow Burn / Age Gap

I really enjoyed this slow burn / age gap from Nora. I think she portrayed the struggle for Baxter to hide his financial situation really well. Kenneth as always was fabulous.

sweet yet hot

I chose this book because the title and cover grabbed me. I did not read the blurb to see it was daddy kink or Ds but that doesn't bother me as I had read several of Nora Phoenix books and know her style fits me. Hot but not squicky. In my opinion a bit on the milder, sweeter side of the kink. I also chose because I love a good age gap and was not disappointed.
The story has a good plotline, is interesting, a bit slow burn but when we do get to the sex it will set you on fire! I loved both characters and watching them develop a relationship both working and then on to more.
I listened to this on audio as I like the hand's free approach when I can to help chores and stuff fly by and find I prefer to listen to books low on my comfort zone than to read them. Kenneth Obi, as usual, did a great job acting out this story. He just has a way of bringing stories to life. I do wish in this one the characters had a little more distinct voice, but I was still able to follow along just fine.
If you like Daddy kink, mild Ds, large age-gap, teacher-student and an all-over sweet but hot story this is for you.
