Short but concise. I have no trouble with it.

like just the way it is-short but concise. It highlights extensive profiles of the previous presidents alongside timetables and depictions of critical occasions during their terms. Franklin clearly knows what he’s talking about.

A book on the history of the Presidents of the USA is a daunting task. This book is well organized, as history needs to be. Included in the listings are plenty of supportive information. If we listen closely we will find it all, the good, the bad and the ugly. Today people have many varied and emotional opinions on our history and politics. Looking below the surface, we will see the truth. How this makes us feel is less important than the truth of history. Our history can cause us to improve upon it today or degrade. It is our choice. All ages should listen to this important portion of history.

A riveting narrative about the presidents in America plus some compelling trivia here. It's really useful for anyone who's seeking information. It's all in one place.

Informative and Satisfying

I was looking for a book to give me just a little bit of information about each and every US President. I didn't want too much about each guy but I did want something about each guy just so I'd feel familiar with past leaders of the country I call home.

This book fulfilled my desires by spending about 15 minutes on each president. Just enough to know his biggest accomplishments, the way the times were when he was a leader, an interesting tidbit or 2 about his life before and after the office, and maybe some insight into his philosophy of politics.

A few criticisms would be that the actual performance of the book was below the normal standard. There were several misreadings, mispronunciations, and instances where the same sentence was read and then read again.

The content of the book was for the most part quite objective but there seemed to be some bias against those who sought to reduce the size of government and in favor of those guys who spent lots and lots of other people's money. The chapters on Obama and Trump definitely seemed rushed and inconsistent with the rest of the book.

Overall this was a fine book and I'm glad I went through it.

Great for history buffs

History was always one of my favorite subjects when I was in school. I really liked the fact that this book told a little bit of their personal life as well as their role as the president. You hear about the “main presidents” in history quite a bit but it was nice to hear some history of the lesser talked about presidents. Somewhat of a longer book but there is a lot of history to be taught!

Brief summary of each president

Very brief summary. Not bad but moves quickly through each president. I would prefer a to double the length in order to get into a bit more detail.

Loved it!

I like to say I'm a history buff, but I don't actually have the time to delve into the history books. Listening to this audiobook was the perfect way for me to get the low down on each president. I truly loved the recap of each president and it helped me to jog my memory for all of the history that I did know. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to sharpen their history skills or anyone wanting to learn about the US Presidents for the first time!
