This is the first book in the Vampire Kings series. Will is a very dangerous prisoner. Hey has lived in prison since he was ten years old. Maddox is a very old vampire. Maddox wants to use Will to kill the feral vampires. This is a MM dark romance. Theo Sinclair did a great job narrating this book.

Good

Loved this one! This was my first read from this author and it won’t be my last! Vamps are one of my fave things to read about and this one sucked me in!
Definitely recommend!

Good vampire series start

Well written and a great performance by Theo Sinclair. this us a very interesting start to a new vampire series. very entertaining.

Not what I was expecting

I went into this one completely blind.
3 star listen
M/m dark romance
Our mmc is taken from jail by his vampire master.
Short listen with a lot of arse play and dark tendencies.
I enjoyed the narrator is was one I havnt heard before and he really fit the story.
Gifted audio.
A few twists that I enjoyed too.

Predators

this was a pretty good MM book not bad for a paranormal take, most of my MM books have been contemporary. so this was new for me. I really can't wait for the next book to come out. I need to now what happens next. the narrator did a really good job too.

Intriguing

This is a fun, spicy, intriguing read that has a lot going for it. I expect this kicks off what will be a very fun world, not the list of which are the following elements:

The narrator sounded absolutely perfect, and as just one person, made it sound like a duet. The sound quality was also perfect. 🦩

Great short read

I really enjoyed this short read. I want to read Lore now. He intrigued me. Theo did an excellent job at narrating

Great dark vampire story

Will and Maddox were a lot of fun to get to know. Maddox wants to train Will who’s been in prison for a while and is offered another choice. But of course things aren’t quite as they seem. Definitely a great dark vampire romance. I enjoyed this short and didn’t want to stop listening to it once it started. I hope to get to listen to more in the series and see what’ll happen next.

When a Criminal Learns to Become a Good Boy

I’ve always enjoyed vampire stories and I’ve discovered some deliciously dark MM short romances for them recently. This one will be added to this mix.
Will, a beast of a man not afraid to kill, but recently had been falsely accused and now in prison, is suddenly granted freedom from a mysterious, sophisticated gentleman who works for the government. All he has to do is agree to live a life of luxury with him and do as Maddox, this handsome, calm, alluring man, says.
Sounds like a good deal.
But Will is in for more than he bargained for when he’s thrown into Maddox’s world.
The world of vampires.
And Maddox is going to train this criminal to be an obedient boy, for his purposes…and his pleasure.
The characters are engaging and complex. It was fascinating how Maddox was praising Will on how his desire to kill, as an empath, was a hidden warrior trait. In this world, it makes some sense, but it is a dark concept to let you know. Maddox is diplomatic, charming, wise, and tender. Loriann is cocky to a T; you either want to chuckle at him or strangle him for causing trouble. And Will shows some good character growth while still being himself.
The scene where a vampire yells at Officer Candy’s kid on the phone for giving his mom lip had me in stitches!
And I enjoyed the writing style of the author. The spicy scenes were as satisfying as a toaster strudel.
I wish it was a little longer.
Mr. Sinclair was incredible. Our main three are all distinctive, charming, and fitting perfectly. And his range on the other characters are also excellent. I always enjoy his intonations and performances.
Looking forward for more!

definitely an interesting listen

let's start by saying I think the narration was on point! The tones and inflections were good and monotone.

I liked the dark story theme and found some areas to be quite comical. Overall, this was an entertaining listen to get me through an insane work day.
