E.M. Bounds was an American author, attorney, and Methodist Episcopal Church South clergy member. He is known for writing 11 books, nine of which focused on the subject of prayer.
Power Through Prayer is primarily focused on the preacher's necessity for an active prayer life, but the admonition is just as needed for the believer today! As with much of what was written in the early 20th century, the language can be challenging to understand. Through a painstaking process of editing, we have created an easy-to-understand translation of E.M. Bounds's work without compromising his spiritual depth and insights.
Let the wisdom contained in this modern edition encourage all of us to "...come before the throne of grace."!Two Trees Ministries endeavors to uncover spiritual literary treasures from the past and edit them into Modern English for the encouragement and strengthening of the Christian pilgrim.
