The plan is to convince Pepper to stay with him at a secluded cabin for one week. One week of pretending to be a happily married couple to show her how great they could be together.

It was okay

Story of Pepper and Jackson was okay. Quick listen. I found myself drifting off in my thoughts because the narration was boring.

It was my cup of tea

I enjoyed the narrator. The male character little kinkiness, I like it, and how they finally get together. They finally get together for knowing each other for many years.

held my attention to the very end, wish there was more to the story. Looking forward to the next book

I just wish it was a lot longer. Other than that it was really good. Very well written.

Funny yet Short

This was a very funny and sexy best friend to lovers story. While Jax is very analytical, Pepper is a firecracker. They have great chemistry together. I think this had great potential. However It ended too abruptly. I also wish their was more of a backstory. We only saw how they got to Colorado as opposed to building up to it. Overall, this was a quick and fun read. It was low angst, very sexy and full of laughs.

Rebecca Wolfe captured the wittiness of the story. I think she was a solid choice for the narrator.

Good story needed more-friends, side stories, something just more. Good easy story if you're just getting into the romance genre

Super Sweet & hot

This book was surprisingly good. I loved the h, Ave was smart, sophisticated & tough. The H is loveable & super sexy. I enjoyed reading about these two. it's so refreshing to find characters that can correct their behaviour & work through issues. I can't wait for more from this author & the narrator.

Friends to marriage

I choose this rating because it was such a good storyline and the narration was explicitly performed. Jackson and Pepper had been in love with each other 10!years before acting upon it and they both thought the the other didn't love them in that way. I loved the way that Jackson knew Pepper so well that he had Plan A and B outlined. But he hadn't planned on Pepper giving him a sucker punch when she arrived. Some parts were hilarious!

This book is definitely for adults 18 and older.
