Good overall, just not my thing

well written and preformed, just not my cup of tea personally. Good undercover story, I'm just not a fan of drug dealing stories.

This was just okay . . .

The story line was moderately likable until it ended. Then it just went to shit. I thought the ending was incredibly stupid and I understand that it was supposed to inspire interest so that I'd want to know what happens next in book 2 . . . But instead I really don't care to read/listen to the rest. It also didn't help that I didn't care for the narration *shrugs*

Pass on this one

The narrator is bad can’t get past the no emotion reading. Hard to tell if the story line is good because I couldn’t finish this one. Not worth the money.

Undercover and conflicted

My first book by this author. This is first of 3 books in the series, so cliffhangers at end of books one and two. I loved the narration. You could really pick upon which character was speaking by changes in his voice.
Story itself started out with a Grady undercover in Pittsburgh, is exposed and soon asked to go deep undercover in a challenging, ongoing case in New York.
There is a lot of internal conflict for Grady between what is acceptable as you get into the details of this case. After meeting Lara, he realizes she is not just the girlfriend of a drug dealer, but is much more involved in the overall drug operation. They use and test each other throughout.
A good start to the series.

Perfect for Me

Oh wow, talk about an undercover job gone wrong! This book is super fun to read/listen and with the cliffhanger I will definitely be diving into the next soon.

Awful!

The narration for this book was terrible. No charactization separation. It was like listening to a newscaster on tv. Since the same narrator was reading all three books I deleted them. Could have been a great series with better narrator.

Umm no

I'm sorry the narrator was horrible, the story was weak. He is a freaking cop acting like a horn dog, I felt no romance what so ever just sex and hes gonna screw up his career for this girl he doesn't know but jump into bed with within the first day. No thank you. I don't like he heroine either shes to slutty for my taste.
