Corrupt Capitalism is Meh
The story heavily involves corrupted financial capitalism politics in a necromantic city. It's a little boring to listen to the politics involved. the first book, if you've listen to it, was also about politics, but surrounded by deities and the occult, which was much more entertaining. You don't need to listen to the first book to listen to this, for the only reference made to the first book was its setting, and one reference in a single chapter, but that's it. That said, the narration on this book is a lot better and has a bit of voice acting compared to the first which didn't. The narrator does go a bit fast, but you get use to it. If you're into politics, go for it, otherwise, I don't recommend.
