Suspenseful

The outcome was not what I expected. I do enjoy carrier aviation plus cloak and dagger stories. Great story!

Most Enjoyable

A thrilling book that keeps you entertained. Can recommend this book for those who enjoy navel and spy books.

Much better than book 1

The plot was good and kept me interested throughout. The fact that the main characters weren’t continually making silly choices made this a much better book than the first in the series. As always Ray Porter narrates brilliantly.

Super Entertaining

Jack Stewart writes the most vividly descriptive aircraft carrier launching & retrieval scenes. I listened to them 3x over for the feeling he was able to impart. He writes beautifully, with appealing characters & a good storyline. I felt towards the end his editor was probably rushing him to finish. I would have liked to learn more about Sublime. All in all … superb. Can’t wait for the next one.

Tail hooked

Great story, made me feel like I was in the cockpit dogfighting the Chinese! Ray Porter is the best.

Ray Porter is the best, brings the book to life. Jack Stewart brings air to air combat and carrier missions to the masses.

I don’t like the name “Punky” but she is interesting. Colt is a bad ar$e.

Excellent read

Good plot, lots of twists.A page turner. I love a good spy and espionage novel!

the flow of the story with multiple avenues that converge into the main story.

great suspense story line that leads you down various avenues. it leaves a dangling area for the next book to pick up on for a continued story.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Read

I liked this book even more than the first one. I would recommend reading them in order to understand some of the reoccurring characters although it is not absolutely necessary. Between the jet fighter jargon, the investigation into a Chinese spy in southern California, and a bio-weapon plot, this book was fascinating to me. It was reminiscent of the early Clancy books where multiple stories weave an interesting plot in unexpected ways. There was also a plot twist that I didn’t see coming which always makes a book better for me.

I have now added Jack Stewart to my "must read" authors which includes John Sandford, Mark Greaney, and Andrews & Wilson. I've already pre-ordered his third book, Bogey Spades.

Ray Porter did a phenomenal narration. 5++++ Stars!
