A man looks back on his life and finally comes to terms with experiences from his teenage years which had coloured his whole life Told in chapters which alternate from the present to the past the reader is taken from the present to the past. Out Stealing Horses takes on several meanings in this enigmatic novel.

Loved every bit of it. Left with questions for the characters. It can't be finished like that. Too many things left not answered.
