Great story. Disappointing narration.
This is Jack’s story. The book is great, but the narrator ruined it for me. Both male and female parts are read by the same person. The female part was good, but the male part was so disappointing. At times it sounds like a first grader who is just learning to read. I even tried different speeds, but it only helped a small amount. I finally stopped listening, and just read the book. There was no way I could listen to this narration for 17 hours.

Story is good. Read it. Narration is lacking
The narrator has a nice voice but her emphasis and pauses every 3-4 syllables is so hard to listen to.
The story line is decent with plenty of drama. The Bancroft's always have something interesting going on.

Narrator is HORRIBLE
Could not stomach to listen to this book. I wanted to insert pencils into my ears to keep from listening to anymore!
