I really enjoyed it! The narration was great and kept me entertained! The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last! It has been awhile since I have listened ir read anything PNR! I was gifted this code for my honest review and boy did this story not disappoint! I truly appreciate the way that Lydia's explained how vampires lived amoung humans in this book! I think this story line was so original in that viewpoint! I can't wait to listen to book 2!

Power of Love
I was like please don't let this be a Twilight reimagining... and it wasn't! It was more! What an interesting perspective of love. How do we define it? By rituals or the heart.
This book is the groundwork (building) of a whole new world. It’s fairly steady with no grand build up but keeps your attention. Then it ended and I was not ready because that's when the action started. And it ends with so many possibilities! I enjoyed it so much & cannot wait to explore all their futures.

Review: 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very unique paranormal storyline of vampires hiding in plain sight as living as Amish and following their traditions. Annalise is a normal modern, strong willed woman who just happens to be the a fated mate to a Vampire. Adam is living his life hiding under the pretense of being Amish when he gets the calling to find his mate. Lydia Michaels goes into such vivid detail it’s like watching a movie in your head. She did a great job bringing out all the emotions of each character from angst, anger, jealousy.
Lucinda Gainey gave an amazing performance. She easily moved between characters and was able to bring out all the emotions as well as the personality of each character. She was perfect for this story!

Excellent Vampire Romance!
It took a couple of chapters to hook me, but it did! This was a vampire story with enough new ideas to feel fresh, but yet it still had all of the things that I love about them.

I was really pleased that so much emphasis was placed on "choice" throughout the book, and loved how it was woven in with the clash of cultures, ancient vs modern, in such a real-life way. The combo made the book exceptional!

Amish Vampires! No way
The story is original and unexpected. I gotta say it’s one thing I never thought of. Amish Vampires. It has that pure alpha goodness but also selfless love that makes you weak in the knees. OH my goodness are they stubborn. It twists and turns and carries your emotions on a wild ride.
The narrator is fun and lively. Kept me entertained. I felt the struggle and emotions in her voice. Enjoyed her voices. Her languages and accents were fun.

This is the first book in The Order of Vampires Series. Adam and Annalise's Amish Romance is original. Adam is possessive, protective, and intense. Annalise is strong, open minded, and supportive. The side characters are great, and they have an important part in this story. The world building is intriguing and slow paced. Lucinda Gainey did a good job with the narration. I am looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series. #AudiobookObsession

I thourly enjoyed every moment. What a unique vampire 🧛♂️ story. I really loved ❤ this book.
The narration was great as well. Please Please continue recording the rest of this series as this is just book 1!!!! I definitely want every single one.
