If you spent more than a single tour in the Military and can read one of Jack’s books and not be riveted, and not find yourself questioning and researching, you need to take a hard look in the mirror.

My favorite novel of Jack Carrs!

It starts off slow but progresses nicely with a fantastic ending. Because of James Reece using only the best, I don’t have to research my fantasy arsenal. Also Ray Porter is excellent! He’s my favorite narrator and I’ve even bought other audibles (Tim Farris) because of his narration. Nicely done and 5 stars across the board!

Best book in series

Another amazing book in the series. It truly makes you think about all current events.

My God, I hope it isn’t true. Fantastic story.

Great narrator. This story explores something that many believe. Evidence is slowly coming to light that the military and industrial complex and the Pentagon do want wars because war is big business that make some people very rich. Though still called a conspiracy theory, the main idea in this book is believed by many to actually exist (before this book was written.) I used to scoff at the idea but if you look in the right places and objectively think ,about what we see happening today, I no longer scoff, but we won’t know if it’s real or not until it happens. The book is an excellent spy novel backed by research and probably the author’s experience. You will hear someone quote President Truman. Truman’s fears are coming true as we speak. A character’s description of the weakening of the US is very poignant. I was unaware of true events such as Able Archer, the Parroots memo. The author asks some questions that the public should know the answer to, but we don’t because those in power don’t want us to know.
