Retired Marine and Coast Guard officer, Carter Blake, is excited to spend the summer with his estranged daughter, Emma, before she goes off to college. Not very original plot or characters
Typical book of the U.S. after an attack: violence, veteran with exceptional skills tries to rescue family, tale continues in more books, etc. I do not plan to buy the next book. Mediocre
