Good scriptural interpretation of death and dying
The book holds tightly to scripture for the most part. Lutzer took some liberties in taking about some of the paranormal aspects of the subject. It’s was good information but I’m not sure I would recommend it to someone who just lost a loved one. It’s a bit too academic and not particularly comforting.

one minute after you die
This was written by a pastor and reflects on heaven and hell as referenced by the bible. I thought it gave an objective discussion with good references without giving a long "sermon". It would be a good book to give to someone who has lost a love one or to someone who is sceptical of the bible or who doesn't believe in what the bible says. It would help someone who is greiving over a lost one. Briefly, he explores channeling, spiritualism, ghosts, baby death, heaven, and hell.

Encouraging and Reassuring
