Ich dachte immer, ich würde mein Leben als Sergeant at Arms bei den Flying Demons lieben. Der Club, meine Brüder, die willigen Bräute - ich war zufrieden. Bis ich sie treffe. Eine Stunde mit Esra und es ist um mich geschehen.
Da aber Loyalität über allem steht, mache ich mir und auch ihr schnell klar, dass es keine Chance auf mehr gibt.
Monate später sieht die Sache vollkommen anders aus. Esra ist in die Hand des Feindes geraten und dieses Mal gilt meine Loyalität voll und ganz ihr. Und wenn sie mich lässt und wir den Scheiß überleben, dann gilt sie auch für immer ihr...

Ich habe mich nie irgendwelchen Illusionen hingegeben, weil mein Leben bisher nicht in guten Bahnen verlief. Doch als ich Eagle treffe, will ich hoffen. Bis er mir das Herz bricht, bevor es überhaupt ernsthaft für ihn schlagen kann.
Deswegen bin ich ziemlich verwundert, als eben dieser Eagle urplötzlich auftaucht, um sich als edler Retter aufzuspielen. Denn er hegt den aberwitzigen Gedanken, jetzt wäre der perfekte Zeitpunkt, es doch miteinander zu versuchen.
Nur gut, dass ich Fehler nie zweimal mache...
