Hugh gets his HEA

I've been looking forward to this book since The American Wives Club came out. I really needed to know what would happen with Hugh. He was so sad at the end of TAWC, but he was obviously ready for a change. One scandal and one intervention by a loving mother later, Avery walks into his office and brings him that change. The two of them have instant chemistry, and Shane East and Vanessa Edwin bring that to life beautifully in the audiobook. I couldn't turn it off and ended up listening to the whole thing in one day. The narrators made me laugh and hold my breath and generally have all sorts of reactions to the events of the book. I loved getting to see Callum and Kate again, and Avery's brother is going to be a terrific hero when it is his turn.

Entertaining, Funny, and Sexy!

This is the seventh book in the Hot Brits series. I love this series! This is another great addition to the series. Lord Steamy (Hugh) and Avery's story is entertaining, funny, and sexy. They are both fantastic characters. I loved to follow them in their journey to love. This is a great fake relationship and slow burn romance. The supporting characters are great and interesting. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it

All the swoons!!!

Lord Summerly got himself into a bit of a scandal and his mother hires Avery to help fix his image. Once they meet, he can't seem to stay away. Lord Steamy is definitely high on the swoons! I loved every moment of this book!
Vanessa Edwin and Shane East were just absolutely perfect in this book. Always a pleasure to listen to them.

Lord Steamy & Irresistible Avery are perfection!

You don’t want to pass up this opportunity to hear Shane East as Lord Steamy and Vanessa as the irresistible Avery! Hugh is a relentless pursuer of pleasure and has landed himself in hot water, damaging his reputation and his business (quite by accident, but still) after having his world turned upside down in Scotland recently. Avery is the image consultant hired by his mother to fix his image and save the business. This brings the forbidden/client aspect to the story, which is a favorite. Their attraction is palpable, making for excellent steamy flirting with the promise for so much more!

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are always brilliant together, so this casting was perfect! The words flow effortlessly so you can get lost in the story. Find out why Hugh is Lord Steamy and why I definitely have a crush on Vanessa’s dude voice in this beautifully narrated book!

One Hot Scandal can be read as a standalone, but if you want more details on Hugh’s recent adventures in Scotland you can read Callum and Kate’s book, American Wive’s Club (which I very highly recommend).

One of my favorite of the series!

Avery is hired to help with Hugh once he is involved in a major scandal. Once these two meet they have instant chemistry and I loved their back and forth throughout the book. I really enjoyed this book and getting to see Lord Steamy get his happy ending.

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin did an amazing job with the narration bringing out the swoon and charm and another great performance from this duo.

Anna Durand gives us another fun story full of swoony and steamy moments that will make your heart happy.

Lord Steamy is back and gets his HEA!

Lord Steamy aka Hugh and Avery are so perfect together and a great example of patience is rewarded!

If you read the last book with Hugh you know he was in love with his best bud's girl. You'll just have to read/listen to that gam to get more of that story!

Avery is no nonsense, all business and hired by his mom to clean up Hugh's reputation after a scandal affects his family image.
Toss in a fake dating trope in there and you have a wonderful, fun and funny romance!

Shane and Vanessa are so hot together!! I love that they imbue that touch of comedy to these characters as well.

Lord Steamy!! Wow!

Lord Steamy! You have WOWed me! Sure you have that sexy voice when you turn on the charm but you did not expect Avery. He was knocked for a loop when Avery does not seem to fall for his normal charm and seduction. Avery has the willpower to openly deny Lord Steamy. BUT secretly she is wooed by him.

I loved seeing Hugh again. The Brit with a broken heart. This story is such a pleasure to listen to..watching Hugh come into himself. Avery challenges him nicely as they work through his PR nightmare.

Secondary characters will charm your pants off. I loved Derek and his hostility as well as Hugh’s Mum who does a nice job interfering in Hugh’s life. I loved them both! It is always a delight to see the Scottish crew. We did get to see more of Callum and a bit of Kate too.

This author always writes such and fun, sexy story. The characters always keep me on my toes and wanting more. I did listen to this on audio. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are the narrators. I can never say enough nice things about Shane East and all his accents.

Hugh!! I needed his story!

Hugh Parrish. Yes, I wanted to hear his story! After meeting him in The American Wives Club, he intrigued me with his arrogant ways and knew their had to be more to him than he is showing. He is finding himself in trouble after his scuffle in Scotland and his business is taking the hit. To clean up his image, his mother hires Avery, an image consultant. But it's not an easy task and Avery finds herself falling for the charming man. Lord Steamy as he is known has to find a balance. Will she be the one to help him? Oh, Hugh! What a man! He is sweet and I love the banter he has with Avery. And Avery! She is quite the woman. While keeping him in line, she finds her heart drifting towards him. These two are meant to be! Plus we get glimpses of some of our favorite characters from previous books which always makes me happy. It's like coming home to good friends. This is the perfect weekend listen, sure to make you smile and your heart sing.

And to add to the goodness of this story, we have Shane East and Vanessa Edwin voicing Hugh and Avery. This is one of my favorite teams. Able to switch accents with ease, these two play all our characters, complimenting each others performances and creating characters that are easy to love. I enjoyed every minute of this audio!
