Lots more action
One Dark Throne is the second book in the series about Queens fated to kill one another. It is action packed with twists and turns. The buildup from book one is well oayed off in these chapters and the back stories start to fall into place. It was an effortless listen and kept my attention throughout. Very happy with the plot and character developments so far. If you were hesitant because the first boom is a slow start, rest assured that this one is not. I look forward to the rest of this series.

Can't wait for the next one
I am totally taken in by this series. I have to know how it ends and I'm sure it's not going to be the way I expect because I have been continuously surprised. The ending made me upset but it's actually refreshing to not have everything go perfectly like you want it to. This series makes me think of a Game of Thrones for young adults.

FABULOUS!!!!
This book was full of thrill and heart break. I savored every moment of it. If I had to pick a favorite character, it would be all of them! Every character had an interesting background and twist. Any one who is ready for some major powerful female leads and a dark story line, will love this series till the end!

Better than the first!
This is the second book of this series and you must read the first to understand what is going on. No spoilers in this review though. First book you meet the sister, second books forced them to adapt and grow. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book.
This series allows you to experience the rollercoaster of a change in era. Everything you expect doesn't happen and life is sometimes a lot darker than you'd prefer. The darkest makes the good things even brighter though.
Cannot wait to binge the next two!!!

Feeling Robbed
This, I know due to the trilogy formula, has this huge cliffhanger but it sucks. I really want more carnage and death due to the powers getting stronger.

great pacing and amazing characters!
good cast of characters. loyal friends and sister desperately trying to evade their fate without losing themselves. 10/10

Perfection
The perfect follow up! This series has been amazing the entire time but this book is seriously fantastic.
