Finally Flika's story!

I was blown away with this book and Flicka's story thus far!! I have had a hard time waiting for her story to come out and have waited patiently for it and I was happy to finally get a story for Dieter as well so I am counting this as a two for one read for me! I felt that both Flicka and Dieter were well rounded and complex characters as they both have secrets and hurts that not everyone is aware of. In typical Blair fashion, she is only doling out their secrets a little bit at a time and then waiting to drop a bomb in this series later (like with Dieter's past that has me totally intrigued). The plot moved along at a good pace even though at times it kind of felt like a rehash of events from previous books in the series but told from a different POV making it feel fresh and not recycled. There were a few twists that I did not expect, especially with Pierre. The narrators, Jason Clarke nad Lucy Rivers did a great job with the performance of this story. The pair made me think that it was actually Flika and Dieter telling the story thus making it an enjoyable listening experience. The pair have also built up my anticipation to see what happens and where the story goes next for this pair.

Once Upon a Time is so good!

I've been working my way thru Blair Babylons books, but somehow I managed to miss out on reading Flicka's story.  I'm so happy to rectify that problem now by finishing Flicka's 1st book, Once Upon a Time. 
The narrators are on point as always.
Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers are top notch.
I enjoyed viewing Wulf and Rae's story a bit from another perspective.
Flicka and Dieter are hot together! I loved that it wasnt a new meeting and they had a backstory.
I cant wait to listen to the rest of Flicka's story.

Dieter and Flicka are an emotional high dive of heartache, danger and suspense. There's always a twist lurking in the shadows to draw you even deeper into the maze of a different kind of fairytale. Beautifully tragic. Breathtakingly emotional. Unpredictable romance.

Another great story with talented voice actors. I love the written word and Audible! Can't wait for the next book in the series! I recommend this story.

LOVED IT!

Blair's writing paired with the narrating skills of Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers is spot on. Flicka's series gets a great start in this audiobook. Deiter is brought to rugged sexy life and Flicka's struggles and trauma are tastefully if not painfully portrayed. Looking forward to the rest of the series in audiobook especially since I have loved all of Blair's series whether or not I read them or listened. Welcome to billionaires in disguise and a runaway princess with a beautiful story to continue to unfold. I snagged this audiobook with whispersync pricing, an awesome feature when you own the ebook and worth the price when you love the books so much.

A great beginning to Flicka’s story!

Holy Mother! This next step in the Billionaires in Disguise series is freaking incredible. Flicka has been in periphery for most of the books to date, and does she ever make a grand entrance in her own series. She's so controlled, competent and able to crate fairy tale weddings with little notice!

The story weaves in through others we've read in the Billionaires in Disguise series and it's interesting to see things from her perspective. Oh, and Dieter...I really cannot wait to find out more about him. He's the one you want on your side no matter what. I flove him.

This is a great story and I'm super excited to hear the next one that hopefully answers some of the major questions I have.

Burn down the world!

While reading the book, it was hard for me to get into as fast as Blair’s other books, however, with the narration it made much easier to follow Flicka and Dieter’s background.
Flicka was brought up to be a strong and independent woman to burn down the world! Dieter has his own demons and secrets he has to overcome but has a soft spot for Flicka.
Can’t wait to listen to the rest of their story as they ride through their journey of triumphs and tribulations.

An engrossing listen, the first in this series.

Loved this book and was thrilled to see this in audio. The narration is excellent and am looking forward to the next book. A tapestry, each series and book are woven to together, making a wonderful flow of characters and story. I try never to leave spoilers in my reviews, who wants to know what happens before the enjoyment of reading and listening to the book? Know that this is an excellent story, heartbreak, intrigue and steam are all here. Can’t go wrong with this one. If you have not enjoyed Blair’s earlier releases, consider them now, they are not necessary for this read or listen, but expand on the characters included in this story and I am anticipating the future audiobooks.

Runaway Flicka... wow!

I had previously read and enjoyed this whole series (well, really ALL of Blair Babylon’s stories) so I was excited to be able to listen to it. I enjoyed it just as much as when I first read it. Yes, there is a cliffhanger, but boy is it worth it... drama, danger, intrigue, and the chemistry between her and Dieter? Whoo boy...stay tuned for more excitement for these two as they face more danger, drama and intrigue.

Flicka & Dieter in Audio is beyond expectations!

I've read their story more than a few times. But, hearing the strain in the voices, shame in the whispers, frustration and cold determination and the impression of gritted teeth and clenched jaws! Excellent. Loved it!
