Great listen
I’m so glad I don’t take others reviews to heart. This book got better and better, some areas dragged on a bit but when you got into the house party things got interesting.

I liked this story & the characters. The storyline was intriguing. The characters were well layered with lots of depth, it helps to have the background of other series books. Narrator was good also.

It could have been good
Where does one start…. The narrator’s chosen voice for the heroine was difficult to listen too. She chose a high pitched child-like voice… it was Not shrill so I was able to continue to listen
The premise of the story was actually quite good. The plot was well thought out and unique.
The “love” parts seemed wedged into the story and it made no sense. I had to fast forward many because I found them distasteful. The thought processes there were not well done.
