The work is arranged into 200 “chapters,” which are often pithy pearls of wisdom that monks could learn from the respected figure of an elder or abbot. Chapters tend to address a range of issues monks would face in the course of their spiritual progress.

Excellent content, Poor Audio Quality
The content is excellent and Fr. Ignatius reads the text well, being himself an expert on Patristics. My main issue is with the audio quality. It is clear that it was not recorded in a professional studio. The audio changes suddenly in volume, quality, and feedback. I would hope that future popular patristics recordings are of a higher quality. Keep them coming.
